To begin with it is essential to plan ahead and determine where to start, and where the project will end. Building anything that will succeed takes planning and forethought. Henry Ford did not just throw a bunch of junk in a pile and call it an automobile. Henry first had to catch an Idea, then he had to think about and study the properties needed to his goals. Many worthwhile projects have been started that way. Henry Ford did not make the first car. He formatted the assembly line to mass produce the car, in turn making it more affordable to the public. Raw materials were accumulated and worked into parts. Frames, doors, hoods, wheels, engines, and all the parts needed could then be staged along a line for assembly. Next he had to gather someone to interview and hire people to do the actual work. A sale force had to be put into place that could sell. Advertisers had to make the copy for and promote the new automobile as affordable to every one wanting one. Finance had to be procured that was people friendly. Now that was only the start of things to come.
